Why is Brian in S-Town?

Brian is in S-Town to help John McLemore with the two events that happened there that they could investigate.

Briefly talk about time in this podcast episode.

They say how humans have told time by using sand, clocks, and the sun. John is different himself because he doesn't use Daylight Savings so he's on a totally different time and this affects him everyday.

He is a boy that Rafa and Junior heard about

Why is he "famous"?

The story says that when he was a baby, a pig ate his face off. They described it as like he was "skinned like an orange." He was bullied and wore a mask and got very fast at running because kids would make fun of him.

Why are Yunior and Rafa in the campo?

They tell us that they are in the campo because their mother is working long hours. She works at a Chocolate Factory and doesn't have any energy left after to take care of them.

What is Rafa and Yunior's relationship like? Their relationship changes; when they were home and going to school they weren't getting along but during the summer they did get along. Rafa would also say things like "shut up pendejo" and "mama only took you in because she felt sorry."
