Annoying ways people use sources

One Annoyance that was used in Kyle Stedman's article was "Dating Spiderman." This was where a writer started or ended a paragraph with a quotation, leaving the reader frustrated and confused. Like Spiderman, the idea in the writing is suddenly there and then gone. An example not used in the article would be the following:
"I don't play by the rules of the game."(Vanderwaal, 2016)As you can see, Grace Vanderwaal feels strongly about her career at such a young age.
I made up this example. But you see that by starting/ending a paragraph with a quotation, it confuses the reader. Why did I put that quote in there? Does it relate to the topic? Is it just there to add to the word count?
The annoyance I do the most is probably the Spiderman! I never thought of it before reading this article, but it makes sense now. I wouldn't explain the quotation enough or give it the build up it needs, so I will do that better in my future writings.
Most annoying for college professor: Using Barry and his encyclopedia of useless information, I swear I did some research, armidillo, dating Spiderman, Am I in the right movie, I can't find the stupid link
Most annoying for a newspaper editor: Am I in the right movie, I can't find the stupid link, I swear I did some research, Using Barry and his encyclopedia of useless information, Dating Spiderman, armadillo
Most annoying for a popular blogger: I can't find the stupid link, I swear I did some research, am I in the right movie, Dating Spiderman, armadillo, Using Barry and his encyclopedia of useless information
Most annoying for a college student: I can't find the stupid link, dating Spiderman, Using Barry and his encyclopedia of useless information, armadillo, I swear I did some research
The changes I made depended on the circumstance. While a newspaper editor would be more tough on grammar and sources, a professor would probably be more upset about lack of back up in the paper. A college student compared to a blogger was quite similar but I thought a a college student would be more annoyed by the quotations in beginning and end of paragraphs and not understanding it.
